Pinetta: William Fourakres, age 86, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 22, 2017 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home, Madison , Florida with burial at Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Pinetta, Florida. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 "" 9 PM at the funeral home. He was born in Echols County and lived in Lowndes County and moved to Pinetta in 1971. He was a veteran in the U. S. Army. He married Patty Crafton on May 29, 1955. He was a member of Madison County Farm Bureau and Pinetta Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Patty Fourakres of Pinetta; 2 daughters: Shirley Kelley (Richie) of Pinetta, and Elizabeth F. Hollingsworth (Richard) of Pinetta; 1 son: William R. Fourakres of Pinetta; 1 brother: Ichabod Fourakres Jr. of Valdosta, GA; 3 Sisters: Dalceda Roberts of Valdosta, Bashie Copeland of Lake Park, Verdie Mae Agner of Madison; 5 Grandchildren: Jessica Murfin, Christopher Scott Kelley, Dustin Ryan Bell, William Adam Fourakres, and Ashley Elizabeth Bell; 7 Great Grandchildren: Liam Fourakres, Ryker Fourakres, Joseph Robert Fourakres, Frankie Nunez, Thunder Kelley, Jolene Kelley, and Benigno Dali Balboa. He was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters: Riley Fourakres, Vashti Touchton, Ruby Morgan, Owen Fourakres, Louella Jackson and Rose Carter.
