Timothy Allen Dennis

September 20, 1945 - August 10, 2014

Timothy Allen Dennis, age 68 of Perry, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2014.  He was born on September 20, 1945 in Belleville, Illinois to the late Ralph Dennis and Ruth Lovell.  Mr. Dennis served his country in Vietnam as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps.  He moved his family to Perry in 2001 coming from Winter Haven, Florida.  Mr. Dennis was self-employed in the Marine Industry for 40 years.   He was survived by his wife of 45 years Brinda Dennis of Perry; seven brothers and three sisters.   Graveside services were held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Florida National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.  The Patriot riders escorted the procession from Perry to Bushnell for a 1:30 p.m. service.  Mr. Dennis had full military honors performed by The Marine Corps League #708 Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. Beggs Funeral Home in Perry, Florida was in charge of the arrangements.  Â
