Marilyn Hallock Cucinella Marilyn Hallock Cucinella, affectionately known as "Nick" by her husband James of 66 years, passed away Sunday, October 27, at the age of 84. She will be greatly missed as she was greatly loved. She was born on February 7, 1929 in Cortland, New York. A passionate and skillful pianist, she attended Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She met her future husband in Ithaca, New York. They were wed on July 5, 1947 and were blessed to have 7 children, 25 wonderful grandchildren, and 20 equally wonderful great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to raising her family. Each and all give testimony of her loving legacy. She will forever remain our true example of a Godly, faith-filled, unselfish woman who loved her husband and family beyond measure and loved her Lord even more. She ministered to so many with her gentle, caring, and loving spirit. Many will remember her delicious culinary talents that fed not only the body but also the soul. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Enid Hallock, sister Norene Hallock McWilliams, brother Stuart Hallock, and granddaughter Elizabeth Cucinella. She is survived by her loving husband James, her 7 children and their respective spouses: daughter Margaret Cucinella Callaghan and husband Louis of Crawfordville, Florida; son Mark and wife Sandy of Empire, Colorado; son James and wife Linda of Oviedo, Florida; son John of Greensboro, NC; son Paul and wife Deborah of Madison, Florida; son Stephen and wife Donna of Tallahassee, Florida; and daughter Lorraine Cucinella Wilson and husband Jeffrey of Fayetteville, North Carolina; 24 grandchildren: Eric, Jason, Matthew, Luke, Liam, Nicole, Anthony, Jeremy, Sharon, Andrew, Sarah, Padraic, Daniel, Adam, Sean, Ryan, Angela, Rachel, Joshua, Aaron, Emily, Anna-Jacklyn, Seth, and Jenna; 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, at 12:00 at Beggs Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Madison.
