Eloise Glass Stewart- " Ma Ma" Eloise Glass Steward, "Ma Ma," 105, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2017, after a long life and a short illness. A visitation will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, May 7, at The Madison Church of God followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 3:00. A brief graveside service will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. She was born and reared in Madison, Florida, the daughter of Fred C. and Eula S. Glass, and lived her entire life in the Hickory Grove community. Since 1932 she lived in the same house on the beloved land farmed by her and her late husband Lewis "Luke" Stewart. She is survived by her daughters, Frances Copeland of Madison, Florida, and Bennie rose Stewart of Valdosta, Georgia; her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hickory Grove Methodist Church or Madison Creative Arts Academy Library Fund.
