David Arthur Young

July 27, 1944 - August 2, 2021

David Arthur Young, 77, of Dowling Park, Florida, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, August 2, 2021 after a tenacious battle with cancer. David is survived by his loving spouse, Suzanne Roberts Young, three daughters and their husbands, a sister, a brother, four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, David was a man of God, sharing the love of Jesus with anyone who would listen. A cowboy at heart, David never met a horse he didn’t like. David liked to share that he was part of the forefront of the computer revolution, but he was most proud of being able to teach and counsel others in their journey of faith. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Haven Hospice of Lake City for their care and comfort during David’s final days. A Memorial Service will be held August 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at The Village Church Dowling Park, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to Haven Hospice of Lake City or Advent Christian Village Benevolent Fund. Beggs Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
