Madison: David Quincy Thomas, age 94, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Beggs Funeral Home with burial at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 "" 7 PM at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel. He was born in Madison County, Florida where he lived all his life to the parents of Henry Jefferson and Genie Malone Thomas. He worked as a Shade Tobacco grower, Madison County Road Dept, and at Madison Machine Shop. He loved gardening and was a member of Midway Church of God. He is survived by 1 son: Roy Wade Thomas(Cheryl) of Madison; 1 daughter: Vonnie Lee Davis(Wally) of Madison; 5 Grandchildren: Genna Davis, Denna Davis of Monticello, Debbie Kay of Tampa. Wade Thomas and Missy Bowen; 2 Great Grandchildren: Patrick and Alexis Bowen. Beggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 850-973-2258.
