Perry, Florida: Annie Mae Buchanan, age 79, died Friday March 26, in Perry, Florida. Mrs. Buchanan was born on January 11, 1942 in Perry, Florida to Charlie and Lura Mae Cope Gunter. She was a longtime manager of Sunset Place Condos in Steinhatchee, Florida. She loved fishing, hunting, and cruising. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnnie Corbin, and by her second husband, James Buchanan; a son, Eddie Buchanan; two daughters, Cecelia Yoder and Letecia Buchanan; two grandsons, Cecil Riner and Johnnie Riner. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 3, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery (Highway 19) in Perry, Florida. Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kay Murr of Perry, Florida; her siblings Shirley Blue, Mary Cox, Joe Gunter; stepbrothers, Wayne Pert, Randy Pert; a stepsister Sherry Pollaski, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The cremains of Mrs. Buchanan’s daughter, Cecelia Yoder, will be interred at this same service.
