Zachary Jeremiah Mosier, born May 20, 1999, and a resident of Madison, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2026, in Lee, Florida. He was a young man whose bright smile and gentle spirit could lift even the heaviest of days. Those who knew Zachary will always remember the warmth he brought into a room and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. His presence had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and valued. Zachary’s life ended far too soon during a moment of deep fear and confusion, when he felt overwhelmed and unable to see the hope that still surrounded him. Yet that painful moment does not define who he was. The true story of Zachary is one of kindness, loyalty, generosity, and a heart that cared deeply for others. He lived his life with sincerity and compassion, offering comfort and encouragement in ways that left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know him. He loved the simple joys of life: working on vehicles, mud bogging, riding down dirt roads, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Some of his favorite evenings were spent beside a bonfire, where he could relax, laugh, and enjoy the quiet company of those closest to him. Those moments reflected the kind of person Zachary was: someone who valued connection, loyalty, and the comfort of simply being together. Zachary had a natural instinct to help others. If someone needed assistance, he never hesitated. Whether fixing a vehicle, lending a hand, or simply offering his time, he showed up. His easy smile and willingness to help made people feel supported and appreciated. As a mechanic, Zachary found pride and joy in his work. Engines, tools, and the challenge of bringing something broken back to life fascinated him. Cars were more than a job; they were a passion. Some of the most treasured memories shared by his family are of Zachary working beside his father, learning, repairing, and laughing together over engines and tools. Zachary carried deep love for his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Wayne Mosier, a loss that changed him profoundly. He was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kermit Paul Mosier and Robert Richard Sealey Sr., and his grandmother, JoAnn Whitted Sealey. Though he carried the weight of those losses, Zachary continued trying to be strong for those he loved. He cared deeply for his mother and often watched over her in quiet, devoted ways. He is survived by his mother, Angela Mosier of Live Oak, Florida; his partner, Kimberly Minor of Madison, Florida; his grandmother, June Mosier of Madison, Florida; his sisters, Breanna Mosier of Live Oak, Florida, and Starla Mosier and Bianca Mosier of the Netherlands; his brother, Mitch Mosier of the Netherlands; and his nephew, Brantley Studstill of Live Oak, Florida. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly. Even in his final act, Zachary’s generous spirit continued to shine. Through organ donation, he gave the gift of life to others, offering hope and healing to families he would never meet. His kindness continues through the lives he helped save. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Madison, Florida. A repast will be held afterward at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Madison, Florida.
